Restaurant Review- Zizzi (St Albans)
Today was a good day. It was a good day not just because of my lovely friend Bimbo who had her graduation but because she took us out for lunch to Zizzi.
I’ve come across Zizzi so many times and not bothered to go in cause it just looked like plain old Italian food but I was wrong. As I said before the its an Italian restaurant and I’ve got to say the food was GREAT! Highly recommended.
I had Piccante pizza- spicy sausage, salami, field mushrooms, mozzarella, mascarpone, Roquito chilli, a piccante tomato sauce and fresh rocket. Also had a nice glass of Rose and Elderflower. It pizza was large (very important), spicy and had this great white sauce on it. The sauce was AWESOME I have to say. Not sure if it was the mozzarella or mascarpone.
I don’t eat at many Italian restaurants but if you looking for one, go Zizzi!
