Imagine fighting with Aizen using Naruto or Itachi using his genjutsu on Zaraki Kenpachi (Sick right?!). That’s what we’re led to believe with the trailer of a new online game called Pockie Ninja.
You cannot imagine how excited I was after seeing it and I cannot wait to play it. With what I’ve heard so far it’s a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game meaning you play with other people online if anyone doesn’t know what MMO means and I’m guessing its free.
Manga cafe is also known as “manga kissa” in Japanese. Came across a show on TV about Tokyo night life and it mentioned something pretty interesting…..manga cafes! What a brilliant idea. A manga cafe is basically a library of manga where you come in and pay for your own private booth and enjoy from the crazy library available.
The interesting part is that they are open for 24 hours and people come in and chill after a night out if they’ve missed the last train service. Renting a booth is pretty cheap (I think 100 Yen for an hour which is about a £1) and you also get access to DVDs, internet, free refreshments and free nail manicures for the ladies.
If anyone reading this thought this was a review for the new Tron movie, well you’re wrong. I actually decided to see the original Tron which came out in 1982 before I headed over to the cinema for Tron: Legacy.
And what did I think? Well, it was okay, not really worth my time. I will say though that I thought it was pretty interesting the way they handled the special effects. Comparing the new and old versions is like stepping into a time machine. In fact, check the trailer below to see what I’m talking about.
To be frank the movie wasn’t great. It really struggled to hold my attention but I do like when people try and bring original concepts and stories alive. I’m sure if I lived in the 80’s I would have been wowed with the film’s visuals.
A friend of mine who isn’t into football said to me this weekened, “George I’m so sorry, I heard on facebook that Barcelona beat Arsenal”. She obviously didn’t realise the gravity of her statement but it was funny anyways. People have already written Arsenal off and we aren’t even in 2011 yet.
Believe it or not I was praying we would meet Barcelona. I believe that if you deserve to be named the Champion of Europe then you should be able to beat every opponent you come against. Take your mind back to 2006 when Arsenal met and beat Real Madrid, Juventus, & Villarreal who were all on form at the time to reach the finals. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. There would be no point if we met Barcelona again in the semi-finals and got beaten again. If Arsenal really wants it, they’ll get it.

Haaaa! I couldn’t have seen this coming. Yes we got a trailer for Fast and the Furious 5 or should I say Fast Five as its called. And you won’t believe the cast they got on this. Practically everyone from the series is back including my man the Rock (Dwayne johnson). Plus as usual Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese, Ludacris, Sung Kang (From Fast and furious Tokyo Drift- ‘Hang’).
Basically the trailer looks nuts and I can’t freaking wait!
Please don’t ignore my title post. Scooby Doo is really awesome. Well I know not everyone is interested with cartoons or anime but for the people who are, you need to see the new Scooby Doo cartoon…Mystery Incorporated.
I don’t even know where to start. It’s like new writers who actually love the show just created magic. The writing and jokes are absolutely spot on. They have given the gang a whole lot of character.
Freddie has an addiction with making traps, Darphne is doing everything to catch Freddy’s attention for some love, Velma loves Shaggy but Shaggy just wants to spend time with his bud Scooby.
Another movie I’ve always wanted to see for a long time now. I’ve always been a fan of Seth Rogen and his movies (liked Zack and Miri make a porno) because plainly they are usually just weird. They don’t feel scripted like usual comedies do but I have to say he is starting to wear off me now. Not sure why.
Pineapple express is another dumb crazy film about Seth Rogen and James Franco’s characters Dale and Saul trying to run away from a drug lord after Dale witnessed the drug lord committing murder.
Don’t want to go on as usual because I really can’t describe the odd comedy. It always made me laugh with the most unusual scenes especially with James Franco’s character Saul. There are a lot of bromance moments which are always funny.
Not the funniest film but it’s cool enough to watch if you like a new type of funny.
Well if you’re wondering why I’m reviewing a fairly old movie now it’s because I only just saw it.
Prince of Persia is originally a video game which has had a few sequels and re-imagination over the years. I think the most popular and definitely my favourite POP (Prince of Persia for short) Sands of Time on the Playstation 2. It is definitely one of my favourite games of all time.
The movie is based exactly on the game title with the same name. The prince holds a dagger which has the power to ‘control’ time. The story also involves a princess who is somewhat linked to the dagger. Before watching the movie I had heard from my friends that the movie was really awesome. Like really really awesome. For me it was just okay.
Although I go on about movies especially to my friends, I haven’t been to the cinema in aaaaaaages. Gone are the days that I just strolled into the cinema with my unlimited membership card but now I’m busy as shit with university. Well, something’s gotta give.
Anyways I got to see the new Harry Potter this weekend and for someone who isn’t a Potter fan, I have to say I quite liked it. The whole wizardry thing never appealed to me and I hate following hype so I didn’t bother getting into any of it. I did see the last Potter film- Half blood prince but that didn’t sell to me either.
If you’re like me and have no idea what Harry Potter is about, well it’s about a young wizard and your usual epic tale of magic, friends and villains. It’s not as cheesy as I make it sound. I have to say though that the movie has an excellent cast of British actors.
If you haven’t heard of Boondocks yet, well you’re hearing today. A friend of mine introduced me to it actually.
It’s basically a crazy black anime type series about this black family in America and funny as hell. I like it so much that I prefer watching it to Family Guy.
